Carolyn Rauen remains the greatest runner in the history of Turpin High School.  Carolyn was a member of Turpin's 2001 State Championship team.  A school-record four-time All-Ohioan, Rauen was the face of Turpin Cross Country as she led the Spartans to 1st, 2nd, and 4th place finishes in the state from 2001-2003.  Rauen was part of four school record relay teams, including the 4x800m, Distance Medley, 4x1600m, and 4xMile, the latter two of which were state records.  Carolyn was the #7 Miler in Ohio as a freshman, #3 as a sophomore, and the #10 Two-Miler as a junior.  Carolyn was a four-time First Team All-FAVC Cross Country selection, and was a finalist for the Wendy's High School Heisman Trophy in 2003.  Carolyn currently runs for the University of Missouri Tigers.
